Wheelchairs have been greatly improved over the years. One hundred years ago, they were heavy and required someone to push the wheelchair. Today’s chairs come in many models—sleek and slim for those using the wheelchairs for all types of sports. There are also motorized chairs that can be controlled in many ways by the wheelchair user.
