Mrs. Cleveland gives birth in WH 9-9-1893

On September 9, 1893, Frances Folsom Cleveland, the wife of President Grover Cleveland, gave birth to a daughter, Esther, in the White House. The Clevelands were married in the White House in 1886. Cleveland was not re-elected when he was the incumbent but then re-gained the presidency in 1892, and shortly after they were re-settled at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, their 2nd daughter was born.
