On July 17, 1955, Disneyland opened to the public. While that first day was a little rocky because the crowds were huge and the crews were still trying to finish all the elements of the park, today Disneyland stands as a marvelous testimony to imagination and the fun and thrill of entertaining visitors. The Disney Company’s most recent park is preparing to open in Shanghai, China.
