On October 11, 1975, Bruce Springsteen had two major albums behind him, but he had not yet surfaced as a big name in music. That changed in October of 1975 when his single, “Born to Run,” became his first Top 40 hit. With this success, Springsteen was on his way to being an international star. Two weeks after this, the Boss had simultaneous cover articles in Time and Newsweek.
