I appreciate your perspective. I think the story is also about how hard it is as a child actor to make the transition to other acting jobs. I have nothing but respect for Allen Hoskins who lived a very admirable life!

I never thought of any of the blacks with a racist thought in the show. It was a wholesome great show that was far far better and realistic than any newer show like the Brady bunch, full house,eight is enough etc.
