Some aspects turn off people, then and now: gender separation, duty to God, use of firearms, and incorporation of Native American images are examples. And some who affirm the Scout Law as youths come under other influences and drift away in later life. There have been mistakes and lapses, and unworthy, even predatory, leaders. On the whole I believe it instills good values and teaches useful skills. I was poud that my two sons followed in my path.

Woodcraft& Indian…She was going to leave it on a park bench, but i was intrigued, so just tapped Ernest’s name into google. And here i am, thousands of miles from where this man& his wife did good things for children& wildlife. The need for a new Seton is ubiquitous!
