I used to drink with Kenny Washington at the Cork Club on Adam Blvd. in Los Angeles! He was a liquor representative for Cutty Sark scotch! He and a lot of retired L.A. athletes would meet at the Cork to play American Contract Bridge! Players like Don Newcomb, Jim Gilliam of the Dodgers and others! Back in the day as they say!
