She was his 4th and final wife. Marriage lasted 11 1/2 yrs.
As for Hawks, he was a notorious womanizer. Jealous of Bogart. it appeared to
both he and Bacall that Hawks wanted to “bed” Bacall. I believe she wrote about
this in “By Myself.”
